Nightwish started their tour in March with its then-released Decades album, but earlier the band has betrayed that the songs of the new album are in preparation, as well as the concept of the band in the mind of the composer-founder Tuomas.
Recently, was held in Kitee the International Music And Art Festival.
At the event, the band’s founder told some things about the upcoming release.
“The making of the album is going okay, 80-90% of the songs have been ready, and a huge flood started when we were completed the Auri album recordings last year.”
As is known, at the end of Nightwish’s previous tour, Tuomas has experienced a minor creative crisis. Fortunately, the Auri also gave a power to the musician to writing of the Nightwish songs.
“Something was blowing in my head, I was very excited. Last night I wrote a song, probably 10 or 11 compositions will be on the album. We plan the studio works for the summer of 2019, so the album is likely to be released in spring 2020.”
-said Tuomas, who also said: They will work again with the London Session Orchestra, which music company has provided the symphonic sound on the 2004 release Once. The mixing will take place at the Finnvox studio.
