According to TMZ, Amy Lee the Evanescence’s singer, has received more than $1 million in royalties against her earlier management.
110 Management Inc. last year sued Amy for unpaid commissions and fees. The management originally sought $1.5 million for the singer and eventually reduced demand to $335,000.
Amy has asked the court to impose damages on the company due to the lengthy legal battles and the judge finally decided that the singer was entitled to $1,036,773.68, which would be in addition to the other legal expenses.
The total bill:
$885,000 in attorneys’
$72,000 dollars for expert witnesses,
And other administrative costs.
Amy is currently on tour with her band, support their new album, Synthesis, which will release on November 10. On the new album will include two brand-new Evanescence songs, as well as large orchestral and electronically re-tuned and recorded versions of their well-known songs.
