Alissa White-Gluz continues to recording her solo album!

It is no secret that the Swedish Arch Enemy’s singer is working on her solo material, and few days ago Alissa gave an interview about that at the Australian Download Festival. The Canadian singer began working on her album in 2016, and her project would simply run under the name Alissa. We also learned that many guest musicians will be feature on the record, including two members of Kamelot, Tommy Karevik and Oliver Palotai, Jeff Loomis, or the singer’s partner Doyle.

“Angela Gossow encouraged me, but I had some ideas I did not want to force to Arch Enemy, and when I took a break, I started to deal with my album. Angela was right, I needed something else to express myself.”

-Alissa told this. Her predecessor, Angela Gossow left the team in 2014 and has been working as a manager since then; she is managing the band’s finances, providing accommodation, futures and Alissa’s affairs.

  1. I do like the way you have framed this specific matter and it does provide me personally some fodder for consideration. Nonetheless, because of just what I have seen, I simply just wish when other responses stack on that people continue to be on point and in no way start on a soap box involving the news du jour. Still, thank you for this fantastic piece and though I do not necessarily go along with the idea in totality, I regard the viewpoint.
